Britania Row 2

To design and create a new workplace concept that melds the ethos of a creative working environment with the comfort levels of a hotel/ club environment within a 25,000 sq ft Victorian building in Clerkenwell.

Appointed by Nick Mason’s company BR2, once the architectural infrastructure had been established, Gloss Design had the challenge of interior designing the building originally a Victorian flower market warehouse to take it forward from the established model of a ‘business centre’ towards a more creative lifestyle workplace.

The reception area built around a double height circular rotunda was designed to have instant ‘ wow’ factor. With its glistening mobile chandelier and commissioned lenticular screen edging the circular reception desk it informs the design of the rest of the building.
